We care about our community and one way that we do that is by providing food for the hungry in the surrounding area.
The Food Pantry provides food and care for families in need
YBC Food Pantry has been serving more and more people in response to the growing needs in our community. We offer emergency food relief to guests from all over the area.
Our desire is that every bag we distribute, every conversation we have, every invitation we make to church and every prayer we pray provides hope to families who are physically, emotionally, and spiritually hungry.
How does it work?
Food Pantry guests can come one time each month, we are open Wednesday and Thursday between 2-4 pm. On each visit, they will receive a helpful amount, which may include meat/poultry, cereal, rice, vegetables, fruit and more. Identification and proof of address is required to receive a grocery visit.
Where is it located?
How can I get connected?
The Food Pantry is staffed by volunteers, and help is needed in all areas to make it run. We are always looking for caring individuals to serve guests, stock shelves, deliver donations and make bags. As our services and programs expand, so does our need for volunteers.
